This lovely villa overlooks the clear waters of the Bioluminescent Bay in the idyllic Rum Point and Cayman Kai community. This location is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach and offers enchanting vistas, secluded beaches, and numerous amenities.
The ground floor features an open-concept design that allows the living and dining areas to flow into one. The fully equipped kitchen houses stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge. The true focal point of the home is the spacious two-story screened lanai facing the turquoise sea that offers additional lounge seating and alfresco dining.
A large swimming pool with a sundeck is located on the water for guests of the complex to enjoy! For adventure seekers, Seaside Dreams offers two tandem kayaks and two bicycles complimentary with your stay.

These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay.
Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports.
While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years.
Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses.
Nearby Beaches
The Rum Point Club is the area's big draw and easily one of the best beachfront destinations outside of Seven Mile Beach. In addition to a barefoot beach experience, you'll find food + drinks, excellent snorkeling, watersports rentals, and charter excursions for a true island experience.
For a more remote beach vibe, head south to Starfish Point. The sunsets there are phenomenal. However, please be mindful not to disturb the starfish or leave any litter behind.

Beautiful Place!
This place is beautiful and looks just like the photos. The lagoon beach is very close, and the pool is a very short walk away along the beach. The two bedrooms are about equal in size, and the beds are comfortable. The screened porch has comfortable furniture and a beautiful view. The owner was very responsive to questions.

We had an amazing time in Rum Point at Seaside Dreams Villa! Would highly recommend and will stay there again if we return to Grand Cayman!

The villa was perfect for our family of 3. Well equipped and extremely clean. My husband super appreciated the stainless pans on the kitchen. Very quiet end of the island. The lagoon was calm and we loved the toys, kayaks and equipment. Everything was well maintained and great quality. Thank you!

The Best Island House
Spectacular location & immaculate house. Great porch for relaxing. Lots to do: kayaking in the bay, snorkeling & swimming at Rum point, snorkeling, sting ray city & fishing from Kai Bo. Playing in the pool. Walkable beach bar. Everything was really great, would love to go back ASAP. Have already told all of our friends & neighbors about it.
Amazing
Perfect location & island house on Cayman. Would love to stay here again without any hesitation. Beautiful quiet views of the bay, very short walk to Rum Point beach & beach bar. Kayaks were so great to have for our whole family. Walked to starfish point. Took both a sting ray city/snorkeling tour & deep sea fishing charter from Kai Bo Marina (3 min drive away) and then grilled our fresh caught wahoo back at the island house. Perfect place for reuniting with friends also staying in island houses. Beds were comfy. Porch is fantastic. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you.
Spotless!
Seaside Dreams did not disappoint. The pictures matched the place perfectly. It was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed and then some for our weeks stay. The screened in patio was perfect for morning coffee, evening dinner and drinks. The surrounding area was quaint and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely go back for another stay in the future.

We stayed at the Seaside Dreams for one week and would give this property 5 stars. The villa came with 3 tandem kayaks and two bikes with helmets which we enjoyed daily and we took advantage of the free snorkel gear which we picked up from the welcome center. We have stayed at other rental properties before that did not have any items stocked in the unit, but this villa had everything we needed from extra toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of cleaners, hand soap, laundry detergent, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen with every utensil you can imagine. There was also some basic spices there for cooking and a Brita water filter which was a huge plus as it saved us from having to buy bottled water. We ordered groceries from Hurley's prior to our arrival and the groceries were already inside our condo when we arrived (cold items already in refrigerator!) Also the internet/wifi worked great from the condo (very quick.) The restaurants at Rum Point and Kaibo were very good and convenient. We dined one night at Kaibo Upstairs and did their 6 course meal with wine and rum pairing which did not disappoint! Amazing experience and service which we highly recommend, but was expensive. They also played great music there and we learned they have their own Spotify station called Kaibo Radio. which we streamed nightly from our villa. We rented a car as well which was a bit awkward at first (we are from the USA so everything was opposite - steering wheel and having to drive on the left)

This was our first trip to the Cayman Islands and we were very pleased we chose Rum Point vs the Seven Mile Beach area as this was much more quiet and relaxing area of the island. The bioluminescence bay was absolutely incredible!
We were also very pleased with the management company and their communication with all the details.
Cannot Say Enough Good Things
The villa was fantastic and was well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could ask for and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Kayaks and pool toys were provided! There was very little more we could have asked for in our stay. Everybody around us was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and Must-Dos. The pool was just a quick walk away and perfect. Overall we cannot say enough good things about our stay and will look to book here again if we return!
Will Stay Here Again!
Just as advertised, lovely part of the island. Quiet and the people around the house were extremely friendly. Pool was great, we used the kayaks a lot and even the bikes! Snorkeling at nearby locations didn’t disappoint, we saw sea turtles, stingrays, fish and plenty of starfish. Will stay here again.
All The Comforts of Home
This villa is on an idyllic bay with beautiful view, quiet enjoyment, and all of the comforts of home. A modern, clean beach decor with all the amenities you could want or need. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, plenty of linens, and good WiFi for our son to complete college assignments. We had an amazing stay and hope to return!

One of Our Favorites!
This was our 38th AirBnB stay covering 12 different countries, and it was definitely one of our favorites. We were really impressed by how clean it was. Spotless. Not even dusty anywhere. Also, the place was truly stocked with every utility or supply that we might need -- everything from bug spray and sunscreen to kayaks, life jackets, bicycles, helmets, snorkeling gear. We really appreciated that we didn\'t need to rent kayaks and bikes and snorkeling gear, and we used them all! So grateful. The location was great -- super private and quiet (Oct 2023). It\'s walkable to Rum Point beach, where you can see an occasional stingray in the wild and snorkel to your heart\'s content and end the day with a great cocktail and meal at the beachfront restaurant. It\'s also a quick bike ride to Starfish Point, and you can literally just walk into the backyard to kayak through Bioluminescence Bay, which is especially cool at night because the water glows.
Perfect Property For Two Couples
Perfect property for two couples to get away and hang out. Just enough space for us. The staff was super helpful and everything happened just as we expected with grocery delivery and some extra paddle boards to enjoy while we were there. We went during the off season and it was very quiet which was perfect. Peaceful mornings on the bio bay and peaceful afternoons on the beach at Rum Pointe. The restaurant at Rum Pointe was good and we highly recommend Tukkas on the East End of the island.

Amazing place to stay !!
If you\'re looking for a place to stay in Rum Point or on the East End of the Island, away from the bursting life of Georgetown, look no further. This amazing Villa got everything you need, it\'s clean, well maintained, full of amenities, very relaxing and quiet at night and the beds are very comfy too. The bikes and kayaks are a big plus as we use them a lot. Property manager were there for us when we needed them. The swimming pool was great too as we had it almost for ourself cause we were in the off season. Me and my family had our best dream vacations ever at this Villa. Don\'t Hesitate to rent it, you will not be disappointed. - Thank you 🙂 -
Awesome Adventure!
Awesome adventure with the kids! Lots of outdoor activities at your fingertips. Kids would wake up and hit the kayaks. Then we would go hold starfish at a beach 1 mile away. Nice new pavilion is being built at Rum point which you can walk to(200 yards from back porch). Keep in mind the whiter sand/turquoise water is on the other side of the islands in the hotel district. It is an hour drive. This side of the island is much nicer and cooking some of our meals saved a LOT of $.

Quiet, But Lots to Do
We had a nice relaxing stay at Seaside Dreams. The host was super responsive and helpful when asking questions. We really enjoyed that part of the island as it was quiet but still central enough to explore. We loved starfish point. Would definitely go back!
Seaside Dreamy!
This place was perfect, just as the pictures and description described. Super clean, not a single thing wrong with the place. Located right on Bioluminescent Bay was an added bonus, kayaking on it at night was spectacular. Quick walk across the street to Rum Point beach with a bar, never had a problem getting a chair even on the weekend, beautiful setting. Only down side was there were no food and drinks available there after 6pm, and there are not many restaurants in the area. Not a big problem, we drove to find others, and was definitely preferable for relaxing as opposed to being in the hustle and bustle of the 7 Mile Beach area. Would definitely stay here again.

The Rum Point Club Resort has a dinner restaurant/bar. Kaibo has a dinner restaurant/bar. The Rum Point restaurant restaurant/bar will reopen in June. All three are walking distance.
Beautiful Vacation! Just as described! No regrets!
Our family of 5 have loved every minute of staying here. We have loved the laid back feel of Rum Point and have cherished every moment together. This area is a piece of paradise. Being right on the Biobay has been amazing as we have loved going out every night to take in this awesome experience. The beach at Rum Point is a 3 minute walk away but have the bay, sand, and palm trees all in your backyard give you the feel of being right on the beach anyway. We love it here and hope to come back one day!

Absolutely loved this property! So quiet and gave off the beach vibes we were looking for. It was just a short walk to the pool and Rum Point Beach. Great amenities were included like the kayaks and sand toys for our kids. The only two small issues we had were finding the house at night since we didn’t have reliable GPS. The other issue was finding the keys to get to the outside shed with the kayak paddles. After some snooping around we eventually found them. Super minor things. So happy we stayed here!

Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked. Location is great on the bay and walking distance to the ocean. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Only downside was there were only 2 restaurants open on this side of the island. But plenty of options across the top of the island and in the East End.
Wow!!! A true dream!
When we booked the villa, the pictures were so nice that we really thought that we were going to be disappointed once arrived….it was too good to be true….well it was even more beautiful and perfect than expected once there. We had the perfect quiet week that we wanted. We used the two kayaks available on the property almost every day! It was so much fun. The property was very clean (and usually I disinfect everything and I didn’t this Trip). A lot of amenities available that were really appreciated (BBQ and we borrowed the Bluetooth and snorkelling gears from the guest services). So well decorated too….everything that we need was there! Thanks again….we will definitely come back for another week soon.
Great Property and Location
This property was amazing. We didn\'t realize we were traveling during the off season, so we were surprised to find ourselves quite alone in Rum Point. But we loved the privacy - had the Bioluminescent bay and the pool all to ourselves. And took advantage of morning trips to Starfish Point before the boats arrived. It was like having our own private beach. The property itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Seems like they thought of everything including blankets to be cozy while watching TV. We loved the screened porch for morning coffee and afternoon naps. The kayaks included was a huge plus - we used them several times both during the day and at night. I can\'t say enough good things. Property management was extremely responsive both before and during our stay.. We will definitely look to come back.

Fantastic family beach vacation!
Seaside Dreams was a lovely place for our family of four to spend our first post-COVID vacation. The property is well-equipped, very clean, and has lovely views of the lagoon out the back door. Silver Thatch rentals are great to work with--we had kayaks, bicycles, and the option to charter a snorkeling trip and Stingray City visit, which we would highly recommend. The management was very responsive and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better stay. Depending on your arrival time, you might want to take advantage of a grocery delivery service (book well in advance), so that you have something in the refrigerator. We found a great local store nearby (Chisolm\'s Grocery) that we used, but the delivery at least for the first day, would\'ve been convenient. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a private, relaxing family vacation.
Enjoyed our Trip
Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, modern, clean condo with all the conveniences of home. We made use of the kayaks on the lovely lagoon, and enjoyed the restaurants in the Rum Point/ North Side area. Silver Thatch is a great management company. Highly recommend them. Also recommend the charters for snorkeling and visiting the stingrays. Great experience! Be advised that you are a 45-50 minute drive from many tourist attractions, but you are also in a quiet, very local area that gives you a feel for the community and culture. Really enjoyed our trip.
Paradise
This house was in a group around a small bay. The grounds were kept beautifully, raked and trimmed regularly. The house is also updated and well kept. We stayed for 6 weeks, everything we needed for cooking etc was in place…in fact, the best supplied of any rental we have done. The furniture was quite comfortable and attractive. The large screened in 2 story lanai was stunning, and we ate every meal out there on the large dining table. We pretty much lived on the lanai, comfortable with fans on hot buggy days; on windy or not so nice days we enjoyed the chaises and chairs. This group of privately owned homes is extremely well run. The manager of the house was very responsive. A hole in the screen was fixed the day we reported it. Some of the houses are rented, some are owner occupied by welcoming and friendly people. A small pool area was well kept and convenient. Because Rum Point was closed due to pandemic there were limited dining options…Kaibo Beach was nice and close. However, we did drive to a number of very good restaurants. We love to snorkel, and the Rum Point beaches were of course open and terrific with coral gardens and fish. It is a very short walk across the street. We particularly enjoyed Smith Cove and Eden Rock for snorkeling, although they are 40 minute drive. While we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of the Cayman Kai area, it entails a lot of driving if you are staying a longer time and interested in seeing more places. Supermarkets are very good, but again, a half hour or more drive. There is a small local food store. If you arrive on a weekend, stores/markets are closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly. The island itself is lush and gorgeous, beautiful houses, excellent roads. The residents and service providers were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely return!
Great Location
This property was great for our family of 4 (including children 9 and 5). Our kids enjoyed finding shells and crabs on the beach on the bay, the moonless bioluminescent kayak trips were such a wonder, and the closeness to Rum Point was great for our trip. The property was well equipped, clean, and as great as it looks in the pictures.
Will Not Disappoint!
The townhouse was exactly as advertised- pictures are spot on. Beautiful modern decor, well furnished and appointed (inside - well stock kitchen and great linens and out- kayaks, bikegrill, chairs, and other other toys). The setting on a beach on the incredible bioluminescent bay. My kids spent hours playing on the sand or kayaking out at night to see the bioluminescence (truly remarkable). We have our own beach house back in the states, so our standards are very high. Seasides Dreams did not disappoint, We will definitely be back!

Booking Rules
- 5 nights minimum stay required.
- 6 nights minimum required over Thanksgiving week.
- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
Map Notes
Cayman Kai is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The area is perfectly suited for those who want to escape the crowds for a destination where life is easy and not so fast.
The neighborhood has very low traffic by design. The streets are safe and ideal for strolling the neighborhood while enjoying the tropical scenery.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls. Confirmed guests will receive a promo code after booking for 20% off a rental car with Budget Cayman.

There are three dining destinations within walking distance: Solis at Rum Point Club, Blue Flame at Rum Point Resort, and the Kaibo.
Located a short walk across the street, Solis is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a casual open-air beachfront setting. Confirmed guests save 10% off food + drinks with their Guest Membership card distributed at check-in in our Welcome Center.
The Rum Point Resort's newly re-opened signature restaurant Blue Flame is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations for non-resort guests are highly encouraged.
A little further south you'll find two distinct dining experiences at Kaibo: the Beach Bar & Grill for casual dining, and Upstairs for gourmet dining.
Beach Bar & Grill guests can dine on the beach, or order takeout including pizzas, burgers, and more. Reservations for Upstairs are encouraged for a night of culinary excellence. The Kaibo also includes a cafe, Kaibo Espresso, to jumpstart your day with coffee, tea, plus pastries and breakfast wraps.
