Welcome to Olympus, a majestic contemporary estate masterfully designed and perfectly positioned on a private oceanfront lot in Rum Point.
Designed with dramatic white angled walls, three levels of outdoor entertaining spaces, and an oceanfront living area with 40 feet of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass, Olympus is breathtakingly gorgeous.
Perched on an elevated ridge, it is not difficult to see how the current owner came upon the name Olympus. At almost 8,000 sq. ft. of living space for only 4-5 bedrooms, each room is a grand statement and offers views of the sea, the pool, and the expertly-landscaped grounds.
The L-shaped cerulean-blue swimming pool has tiled patios on both sides. The unique design of the house creates numerous shaded areas from which to escape the Caribbean sun's rays.
The third-floor roof deck includes a private sundeck and open garden, plus a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area for sunset dinners, or late night cocktails. The owner has ordered a suite of new outdoor furniture for the decks and entertaining spaces.
The indoor features of Olympus rival the outdoors. Upon entering the villa, the modern floating staircase and tropical-wood accents draw your attention straight to the oceanfront great room that opens to an ipe deck overlooking a white sandy backyard with the shimmering Caribbean waters beyond.
A large flat screen TV focuses on the living area, with another in the media room for gaming and a home theatre experience. Each bedroom is equipped with a wall-mounted TV with SONOS sound bar, cable TV, plus Netflix and Apple TV for streaming.
A furnished small home office with complimentary WiFi is available for guests needing to conduct business or connect with clients while on-island. Technology is in long supply at this villa.

- North oceanfront master king suite with floor-to-ceiling glass, 180-degree views, pull-out sofa, and overstuffed reading chair. This suite also opens to both east and west terraces, has a private bathroom with luxury bathtub and shower, a large walk-in closet, flatscreen TV (with Netflix & Apple TV only) and hidden roll-down privacy shades.

Beach Notes
The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The homes on the oceanfront in Rum Point offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky “ironshore” with natural rock formations.
The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as the swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection. The prevailing trade winds from the east also make flying insects less of a pest—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened porch.
Olympus has a very sandy water entrance for swimming, however, there are critters so please wear foot protection. We do get tidal seagrasses on the beach. The owners hire a service that will rake the beach weekly to make a clear path to the water for snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming.
The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many watersports, a fine-dining restaurant, a beach bar & grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also nearby is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Absolutely Fabulous
Absolutely fabulous villa. The pictures online are great but the actual place is even better. Spacious, beautiful, and very private. The added bonus of having the concierge was great as they helped with meals and excursions.

Olympus-Review
Our family just enjoyed our vacation at Olympus in the Grand Cayman. Shamar Byrd was exceptional and assisted our family with many things, such as securing restaurant reservations, grocery shopping, and various excursions. We LOVED Tukka West and Peppers the most for restaurants. We LOVED our private boat excursion with Josh Clark, especially Stingray City, snorkeling and swimming with sea turtles.
The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was that there was a good amount of sargassum which took away from our ability to swim and snorkel on the beach. However, the pool was a delight!
We would love to come back to the island. Possibly stay in Georgetown or West Bay to be closer to restaurants, nice beaches, shopping, and excursions.

Olympus exceeded our expectations, which were high to start with. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed the hammocks and snorkeling daily! Steve and the Silver Thatch crew were wonderful. Highly recommend booking the stingray/snorkel charter with Warren and do not miss out on the Bio Bay at night. We will cherish our memories of Olympus and Grand Cayman!

Wonderful property
This property was perfect for our vacation. We all had enough room and spaces to enjoy both together and separately. Big thank you for the wonderful welcome guft! Dining on the rooftop was lovely! Basically the property had everything we needed, the only suggestion would be that we could have used a couple more dish towels since we did do quite a bit of cooking. Silver Thatch was great was great to work with as well. The boat charter they coordinated was the highlight of our trip and captain Warren was amazing! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot to enjoy everything the island has to offer.
Most Beautiful House Ever!
The blinds that open and go up into the ceiling are Cool. The Floor to ceiling windows, & the beautiful design of the house. The phenomenal rooftop. Wraparound pool. Sonos sound system that can operate in every room of the house, including the patio and roof is absolutely top-notch. This house exceeded expectations and is the most beautiful house we have ever seen. We love Rum point and also the East End, and while we do visit 7 mile….we prefer to hang with the Cayman locals…This home exceeded our expectations. It is the Best house we’ve ever been too.

We loved our stay. Very quiet and restful. The villa is gorgeous and well-appointed. Unfortunately minimal swimming or snorkeling off the beach while we were there…too windy. But the Rum Point Beach is close by which is nice.

Quiet get away
Olympus is a great house!! Modern well kept up and everything is new and easy to operate. A very cool roof top top with 360 degree views of all of Cayman!
The master bedroom has a wonderful sea view with floor to ceiling glass. 4 minute drive to Rum Pointe. We will be back.
Absolutely Amazing
Amazing house in every way. Spacious, luxurious, clean, amazing location on the beach, with its own \'private\' beach area. Great rooftop deck, both covered and uncovered. Service and support was outstanding.The sand on the beach is not powdery soft. It\'s perfectly fine but a combo of nice sand and small pebbles.Top notch in every way. Perfectly executed.
Among the best were the in-Villa chef-prepared meals from Mise en Place, by Chef Scott and Assistant Isharnna
Olympus like Mount Olympus!
We felt like we were on top of the world at Olympus. Treated like royalty! Views of the entire island from the roof lanai.
The kitchen is complete with everything. Living area and sitting areas large and comfy. Bedrooms are exquisite. Master bedroom is off the charts nice - wall of glass to the ocean. Rooftop nice relaxing breeze and respit from the sun under the shaded canopy.
We ventured out daily and spent evenings at Olympus. Snorkeled several times all along the north side of the island and dove 3 days with Silver Thatch Watersports - George and crew were amazing!
The restaurants we enjoyed - Tukka twice, Kaibo beach bar, Rum Point wreck bar, Over the Edge for breakfast, Italian Kitchen.
We did venture to 7 Mile beach one day, but found it crowded and only stayed an hour or so.
We miss Olympus already and are planning a return with friends.

Springtime on Cayman
No better time to come to Grand Cayman than the Springtime. This marks our 8th year coming and each year is special and memorable. We usually stay in one of two properties we know well, but tried Olympus this year as a change of pace.
Uber Modern, filled with everything you could need, fancy and decadent!
Everything is new, so beds are comfortable, seating as well.
Kayaking is a must and snorkeling out by the reef exceptional.
Great for families or group of adult couples.
Grand Cayman Villas was spot on in recommending Olympus and we thank Scott for his attention, knowledge, honest recommendations and support. The process was smooth and enjoyable. Sometimes renting a home can be stressful. Not with GCVC!
The local managers, Steve and Wendy, met us at the property, checked in on us and were always available. They also helped with planning local activities.
Silver Thatch Services was top end in helping. The snorkel gear and other items we checked out were high quality, clean. They even had a Nespresso we borrowed!
Perfect 10s across the board! Highly recommend!

We have rented homes throughout the Caribbean and this is our first trip to Grand Cayman. We will be back, Safe island, friendly people, great beaches, snorkeling, diving, stingray sandbar - with Silver Thatch Charters, restaurants and activities.

Precious Home and Location
This was our third trip to Grand Cayman. We have rented traditional homes on island and wanted to step up to a new, modern home... Success!
The owners take great care of this home and it shows. Exquisite design, floor plan and comfortable furniture.
We ate in for breakfasts and most lunches, but ate out for dinners. We love the restaurants in Rum Point and the East End of the island better than the ones in town. More laid back, original food rather than tourist food... Tukka always a favorite.
The water at Olympus is the perfect Caribbean blue. Snorkeling and kayaking are fantastic, Afternoons and evenings on the rooftop are to die for!!!
Highly recommend and hope to be back to Olympus!

The house was great. Had everything we needed including quite a variety of seasonings. It was very spacious and comfortable. The house is definitely made for hosting and entertaining. Steve was the property manager and he was very nice and helpful. We traveled with children and were able to get playpens and high chairs for no additional cost. The views were amazing and the pool was heated. I have zero complaints and I’m very happy we chose this house. Definitely worth the stay!
Holiday Getaway
A beautiful piece of architecture to get away from the holidays in the USA! The weather was amazing, a bit windy at times. We were celebrating 70th birthday and enjoying a relaxing respite from our irregular weather in Virginia.

Incredible Last Minute Trip
What an incredible last minute trip! The house is absolutely amazing! Celebrated Frankie\'s 48th with the kids - took a boat out to Sting Ray City, Starfish Point, and snorkeled. Had delicious dinners at the Lighthouse and the Yacht Club. Next time, we plan on coming back and spending more time at this house - it\'s unreal. We\'ll be back. Thank you for sharing this with us!
The Perfect Getaway
Olympus was the perfect getaway. This stately house with its beautiful design/layout with stunning view became our home, even if one for a week. Two families had the opportunity to come together over drinks, family meals, swimming and kayaking. Cousins played endlessly past sunset, danced and collected shells, while the parents took a much needed break from the hustle of life back home. While we may leave Olympus in two days, the memories we made while we were here will last a lifetime. We are beyond thankful to spend out Thanksgiving week here!

AWESOME House!
What an AWESOME house! We loved everything about it! The indoor amenities were great, but the outdoor amenities were UNBELIEVABLE! Snorkeling right off the house, lazy days by the pool made this trip the ultimate vacation getaway. Don\'t miss the Tuesday night BBQ at Kaibo Beach Club. Drinks on the sand at the Wreck Bar. Walking to the morning coffee at the Kaibo Beach. Loved being on the north side of the island. We\'ll be back soon!!
Beautiful property!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Olympus! The property was just as beautiful as the photos led us to believe. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our stay, including plenty of beach chairs, towels, extra blankets, and kitchen appliances/utensils for the meals we cooked in. The villa was a quick drive to the Rum Point area. The property manager was attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. We felt very well cared for on this trip and had the best time!
AMAZING HOUSE AND GREAT SERVICE
First, the house is absolutely amazing. The open floor plan, windows & sliding doors for ocean views, beautiful finishes and stunning rooftop deck. Truly an amazing villa. Since it is in the Rum Point area, it is a distance from George Town but with this villa and the amenities, you do not need to leave. Second, the service was amazing and went off without a glitch. When we arrived, the villa was fully stocked with all the pre-orders we requested (highly recommend) and it was a painless check-in/out process with the property manager. Silver Thatch Guest Services, especially Leah, were super helpful the entire time and made the stay at Olympus very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Olympus Review
Was a perfect getaway for our group. Like no other house in Rum Point. Spacious living with room for 8 adults. Highly active coral reef right outside the house was a pleasant surprise. Would snorkel each day as a group. Understand this property is secluded compared to the busy areas of the island. Will have to cool with hanging on property unless you want to be driving a lot. Took a boat from that side of the island to Camana Bay for dinner. That was very cool. All in all would 100% stay in this property and recommend to anyone looking at homes to rent in the area.
Best Villa We\'ve Stayed In!
Olympus was incredible! The house had awesome electronics and set up very user friendly, lighting and layout were beautiful. Best home (villa) layout that we have stayed in so far. Steve the property manager was so friendly and nice. He made sure we had everything we need right when we need it. Loved this relaxing trip!
Absolutely Stunning - 5 Stars Not Enough
Group of 8 adults from Houston area stayed at Olympus in early March. We can not say enough about the home. We travel to different destinations every year and Olympus and Grand Cayman are by far our favorite villa and destination. Friendly people, safe location, wonderful beach, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, proximity to Rum Point and restaurants. The list of pros go on and on. Only con would be we had to leave! Interior is tastefully decorated with no clutter. Room for everyone to spread out. Each bedroom was quiet, comfortable and had its own bathroom. The patios around the pool, second floor and roof top were stunning. Depending on the time of day, there was always sun or shade - to suit our needs. The roof top patio was stunning views and we spent hours up there. We could see across the island with the George Town cruise ships on the horizon! We highly recommend Olympus, and thank Grand Cayman Villas for all help in planning our trip. The new welcome center was enjoyable and we used the gym a couple times! The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and planning help. Best vacation ever. we will be back to Grand Cayman and Olympus!!!!!

Lower Occupancy Discounts
Owner offers lower rates for fewer guests:
- Groups of 8 or fewer guests, staying over non-holiday nights, receive a $150 discount off the daily rate.
- Unoccupied bedrooms will be locked off for the duration of your stay.
Occupancy Discounts are automatically applied against the full base rent when entering your dates and number of guests.
Booking Rules
- 4 nights minimum stay required.
- 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the villa during the entire rental period.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
