Welcome to Piece of Mine Blue, an enchanting micro-resort of three 1-bedroom cottages that deliver a tropical escape with snorkeling, kayaking, and shore fishing steps from the home's front door. With two neighboring cottages on-site—Piece of Mine Green or Yellow—guests can expect a remote tranquil paradise along the island's south coast.
The cozy interiors feature a spacious primary suite with a queen bed, a full kitchen with modern appliances, and a furnished screened living area with oceanfront views. Air-conditioned interiors with complimentary wifi and SmartTVs in the bedroom and living area will keep you cool and connected throughout your stay.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a home-cooked meal including cookware, flatware, glassware, and cutlery. Small countertop appliances include a blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, and a Keurig. A dining table and a small charcoal grill are provided in the screened living area for island cookouts with tropical views. Multiple picnic tables dot the shoreline for alfresco dining by the sea.
At the request of the homeowner, all overnight guests must be 18 or older.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased over the summer. Our owners make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will contact the owner for alternative solutions, which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Beautiful and Peaceful
This place was beautiful and peaceful. Right on their own private little beach. lots of shade to sit under and enjoy the water. Tia was so friendly and helpful. She was fun to talk to. This place is about a 45 minute drive to the main tourist area with all the shops and restaurants. we really like the secluded feel for her place.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Piece of Mine is a wonderful place to stay in Grand Cayman East Bay. It is away from the touristy and noisy areas of the island. You have a private beach and all you could want to explore the ocean. They provide snorkeling and kayaks and plenty more!! Tia was around most of the time and she was so kind and accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure we felt right at home. Next trip to GC, we will be staying at Piece of Mine again!!

Great Hidden Gem
Piece of Mine was a great hidden gem on the island. It was private, peaceful and had everything we needed. Harriet and Tia were both wonderful. The kitchen was full and had plenty of spices and oils for cooking, the beach had plenty of seating between the beach chairs and hammocks. The tiny details that were included made it even better!
So Peaceful and Relaxing
This was our second visit to A Piece of Mine. The location is so peaceful and relaxing. Harriet is excellent at communicating and Tia keeps the property looking spotless and is so welcoming and helpful to the guests. We loved it.
Nothing Short of Magical
Our stay at Piece of Mine cottage was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, Tia and Harriet greeted us with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the crystal-clear turquoise waters right at our doorstep.The cottage itself was charming, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore and enjoying our morning coffee/breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean was an experience we will never forget.The location was perfect–secluded enough to offer peace and tranquility, yet close enough to local attractions and amenities. We spent our days lounging on the private beach, fishing from the kayaks, and exploring the nearby villages and beaches.The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the stunning sunsets we witnessed each evening, painting the sky in beautiful shades of orange and pink.We cannot thank them enough.We'll be back soon!

Quiet Relaxation
Can't say enough about Peace of Mine. We were looking for a warm, quiet, calm getaway after a hectic year, and its just what we were looking for. It's on the quiet part of the island. We took an afternoon and went to 7 mile beach, and were glad we stayed away from the crowds. The beach at the cottage is great for kayaking (the reef is farther out than it looks!). Harriet was great about communicating. We arrived on Sunday, and she let us know that the grocery stores were closed on Sunday, but they could take delivery of groceries for us on Saturday, which they did. Tia was extremely helpful with whatever we needed. You won't do better than the attention from the owner and her assistant, and won't do better than the location if you are looking for quiet relaxation. Plenty of good restaurants on the north side and east end as well.
Couldn't Have Been More Pleased
We loved our stay at Piece of Mine, everything far exceeded our expectations! The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and beautifully decorated. Harriett is a wonderful host, she communicated often and gave us lots of useful information. Tia is a gem, and took care of us from the beginning of our stay. We felt right at home and couldn’t have been more pleased!

Like a Postcard
What can I say about Piece of Mine? It is just as a picture show. You feel like you’re staying in a postcard with coconut palm, trees, sand, and all the amenities you will need for the perfect relaxing stay. The first thing you notice when you walk into your cottage is how extremely clean it is. From the floors to the bed to the bathroom, everything is pristine. Harriet and Tia do such a fantastic job at being hosts. They are there for everything you need. We enjoyed the kayaks, the hammocks , and mostly just lounging in the comfortable chairs by the water. One piece of advice that someone told me when going to the Cayman’s was to not miss a Sunset. We were there every day and we’re never disappointed.
Gorgeous!
We were first greeted by Tia, who showed us the entire property, and all it has to offer. From kayaks, floats, hammocks, and shoreline chairs to drink your coffee in and watch the sunrise or sunset. The villa has a gorgeous screened in porch with a daybed and table and chairs with smart tv. The inside sleeping area has great AC, nice queen bed, and plenty of closet space and a nice bathroom with plenty of towels. This villa doesn’t have a washer and dryer but Tia will offer laundry service if you coordinate with her. A very pleasant surprise.They offer snorkel gear, beach towels and beach chairs for on or off the property. The kitchen has everything should you want to stay and cook. We only needed to get food, all appliances were there. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene and made for the best vacation we’ve had. We will be back and we will bring friends. Tia is an absolute gem and Harriet has a beautiful property. Some cool wildlife on site as well (cayman parrots to name some)

Rent it!
Harriet and Tia made a great combination. Harriet, the owner handled the messages and my questions and answered all my questions ahead of time. She also emailed throughout the trip to ensure everything was perfect, and it was. However Harriet was vacationing our week so her property manager Tia was our greeter and there almost every day on the property, cleaning the grounds, watering, changing our foot rinsing bowl, making sure we had everything we had, gave us advise on the island. She was great. Always nice to see her around. A bright force. Saddened me when she said some people don't even talk to her. That's not how we were raised, and she was just so nice. Even caught her washing off our rental car one morning.The cottages are spotless. Have everything you need. Their insides are so nice, everything so clean, great A/C in our Cottage #1, great kitchen, the bathroom is older but soon getting updated. Bed, pillows and mattress all comfy. We loved its porch. Rent it!
Little Oasis
My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and could not have been happier. Piece of Mine is a little Oasis with the most beautiful, well kept property on the beach! The place itself just felt like home with so many details throughout that made our stay so comfortable and amazing. The bed was so cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with great cooking ware and utensils to make a feast on nights we felt like staying in. The open air porch was another highlight. The location is great as well! You’re about 30-40min to each point of the island if you’re looking to explore. We rented a car and took our time discovering each side of the island each day. Would absolutely recommend this stay!
Can't Say Enough
We can't say enough about Piece of Mine. It was everything we wanted in a vacation. It was beautiful, quiet, and so relaxing. The beach is incredible with gorgeous palm trees for when you need some shade. We took a kayak out to watch the sunset one evening and it was stunning.You should rent a car, but the location allows you to explore all sides of the island. If you want a getaway without staying in a big hotel, this is definitely the place you should book.The kitchen was so nice to have. We were able to make an easy breakfast each day, sneak up for a quick lunch during the afternoon, and made some great meals using the charcoal grill.Harriet and Tia were so friendly and helpful. If you are looking at the Caribbean, we highly recommend going to the Cayman islands and staying at Piece of Mine!
We Will Be Back!
When they call it the island side of Cayman, they mean it. Harriet’s Piece of Mine is situated perfectly! We wanted to have our own quiet place to soak up some sun. If you want more than beautiful private beach access (pictures barely do it justice), you’re 15 minutes away from both the East End and Rum Point. Harriett’s attention to detail made our stay all the more relaxing—internet, amenities, appliances all in perfect condition. We will be back!
Just Book It
If you are wavering are at all on booking this place - just book it! We had such a great time here! The East End area is much quieter than the Georgetown/7 mile Beach area which was just what we needed!We loved the screened in porch on the cottage - was a great place to hang out and watch tv at night when we were ready to relax.On our last night, my husband said to me “What I love about here, is it feels like home” and he was right!You will need a rental car if you stay here, but it is so worth it!
One of the Best Villas We've Stayed At
We stayed at Piece of Mine for one-week in January and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the lovely Tia who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The villa itself was spotless and beach access being only steps away was a huge bonus. It’s by no means 7 Mile beach as it is rocky and short in length, but it had everything we wanted - beach beds and chairs, snorkel gear, kayaks and life jackets. The beach felt like it was just ours even with another couple in the next villa. Tia directed us to a good snorkel spot to the left past the second dock where we saw colourful fish and a huge lobster and in shin deep water just out front, we saw some pretty big fish schooling!We were in Cayman for scuba diving so coming home to a quiet villa after a long day to hang out by the beach or on the porch was perfection. We also had the opportunity to chat with Harriet and her hospitality was like none other. She immediately made us feel welcome and shared some island tips and tidbits which we really appreciated.All in-all, this is probably the one of the best villas we’ve stayed at and we will most definitely be back.Thank you again Harriet and Tia for your hospitality and hard work!
Incredible Property
Really an incredible property, very peaceful and exactly as advertised. Harriett and her staff (Tia) are very nice and helpful whenever you need, but not overbearing. Location is away from the action (which was what we wanted) and is a quick 15 minute drive to Rum Point for great snorkeling. Wifi was surprisingly very fast, parking is easy if you have a rental, and the beach is great. Exactly as described and a great place - we'll be back!
Beautiful and Hospitable Accommodation
We literally could not have stayed in a more beautiful and hospitable accommodation. Right on the ocean and kayaks and snorkels at your disposal. The gardens and screened in porches and gazebo made it easy to enjoy the island atmosphere. It’s paradise!
Good Choice
My wife and I had a wonderful time at Piece of Mine. The house is sparkling clean, and we were greeted in person when we arrived in the afternoon. This house is located in a nice, quiet part of the island. Harriet is an excellent host. She answered my messages quickly. We had good ocean kayaks available and even anchored the large 4-person inflatable off the beach and enjoyed the ocean. We got good recommendations from Harriet's helper Tia about places to go and the right super market to visit. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and on the grill provided. There were several hammocks, chairs, tables and loungers in the common area. There are 4 houses at the site. Three are rentals and the other belongs to the host. There is plenty of room in the common area for the rentals, and the host is never intrusive. I would come back to this location again, and having all houses would be a good option for a few couples. If you want a good amount of space along with a house, then this is a good choice.
Relaxing and Beautiful
Piece of mine is truly a piece of paradise. The photos shown here does not do it justice, you definitely need to stay here & you will know how relaxing and beautiful it is.Harriet was very responsive to all of our messages and questions. We were greeted for an early check in with Tia who welcomed us with a smile, we felt like we were home! The entire place is very clean and has a nice touches & definitely is a beach house. It was windy, we unfortunately weren't able to kayak but instead we hung out on the hammocks everyday. It is quite a drive from the main city but it was worth driving back and forth to what we called home for 4nights. East end is a peaceful and relaxing part of the island away from all the other tourists.We were thankful enough to to have met Harriet in person & a taste of her cassava cake as well. She's so sweet!My husband and I would love to come visit the Island again & stay here with our relatives!

Book This Cottage!
Don’t bother looking anywhere else and book this cottage! Harriet literally has a perfectly preserved piece of Cayman heaven at Piece of Mine. The cottages are spotless and have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation on the island. The photos of this place don’t do it justice. You will literally step into a postcard and not want to leave.The space is roomy, nicely equipped, and perfect for a couple. There is plenty of room for an air mattress or pack and play for a small family as well. The kitchen is a nice size and has everything you need for meals at home or storage of snacks and cold beverages. (Note: I didn’t notice that it was a keurig and not a regular coffee maker, so grab some k-cups at the store!) The washer and dryer in the unit is a huge bonus as well. Towels, snorkel gear, and small coolers are also available.The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. This was our 5th trip to the island and by far our best location yet. Sunsets were amazing, the smell of flowers filled the air, and the sound of the ocean was mesmerizing. There are kayaks available for use. With the calm waters on this side of the island, kayak trips were much enjoyed. As common to the East End, there are pockets of sea grass right off the shore, but a quick paddle out and you’ll find crystal clear water.Things to keep in mind... This location is about 30-45 mins from Georgetown/Seven Mile Beach. You will need a rental car if you’d like a reliable way to get around the island. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive to the beautiful Rum Point and North End of the island. There is no hustle and bustle of hotels or cruise ship passengers. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring some ear plugs, the chickens/roosters like to say hello every morning. If you are looking for a relaxing time, then this is your place. We cannot wait to come back and bring family and friends. Harriet and Tia have everything covered to make your stay memorable!!

Amazing Views
Perfect spot. I don’t think we’d rather stay anywhere else on the island. Special touches everywhere, good beach, kayak and snorkel gear, clean, good fully loaded kitchen, nice quiet location and only 5 -10 minutes to good restaurants. 12 mins from Ocean Frontiers scuba shop. 20 mins from airport.As our trip went on, we spent more and more time here and on the beach - it’s got everything and an amazing view of sunrise and sunset!
Home Away From Home
This place is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay on the island! We really enjoyed our day trips to explore the island and always looked forward to returning back home to our quiet place on the island! We explored almost every beach and every location and was always so thankful that we’ve stayed where we did, away from the crowds and resorts! it felt like a home away from home! We kayaked almost every day and saw lobsters, starfish, stingray and bonefish in the waters near our place!Island tips:Cemetery beach is quiet, shady and has great snorkeling, it’s on the northern part of 7 mile Beach.Governors beach just south of it is a gorgeous white sandy beach!Ocean Frontiers East End Dive Shop offers a beautiful, quiet three stop snorkeling trip away from the crowds, I swam with an eagle ray!
Perfect Get Away
Piece of Mine is the perfect get away. with a beach out the back door, kayaks and snorkel gear to use whenever you want, hammocks to chill in while listening to the parrots. The home itself is clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful, but only a short drive to the best of the rest of Cayman. We loved every minute of our stay.
Certainly Enjoyed Our Stay
The place was great! We were provided with kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach towels. Anything you could really need for quick trips to the west side for a public beach. Everything was clean, kitchen has all the needed utensils and we felt like we had privacy even though there are other cottages close by. Sunsets were always beautiful, the Island was great (albeit expensive) and we certainly enjoyed our stay.
Perfect For My Wife and I
I cannot day enough good things about this place. For my wife and I it was perfect. We had the luxury of being the only occupants of the three units right next to each other so there was no issue with privacy while we were there. Harriet and her groundskeepers are all very welcoming and attentive if anything is needed. We enjoyed staying way out on the East End... it felt so much more peaceful than the business of Georgetown or Seven Mile. I truly believe we got a great local experience and it forced us to get out and explore the island. My favorite part of the cottage is without a doubt the private beach! We kayaked daily, I fished so much that it almost got me in trouble with the wife. We were able to find a couple good snorkel spots right there close to the cottage. We spend a couple nights in at the property and enjoyed the cabana and grilled some of our own local fav “jerk” food. Overall it was great! I would worry that some of the appeal might be lost if all three units were occupied at the same time but we didn’t have that issue and loved every second! A little advice, hit the local fruit stands and try the Mangos!!! Best I’ve ever eaten! Thanks for the memories Harriet, Cayman will always have a place in our heart!
Absolutely Amazing
"Piece of Paradise" couldn't adequately describe how wonderful "Piece of Mine" is. We stayed in Villa #1 and it was absolutely amazing. Harriet is immediately responsive and helpful, even making dinner reservations for us before we got to the island. Harriet also had wonderful personal touches within the villa that made our stay more comfortable including many plush towels (including beach towels), cold water in the fridge when we arrived and an absolutely fully stocked kitchen. The use of the snorkel gear, kayaks, hammocks and many wonderful spots to sit on the property made it an absolute joy to come back to each day after our adventures. The property is also nicely located on the East End of the island away from the busy cruise ship terminal and large resorts on 7 Mile Beach and the West End. It's about 1/2 hour from 7 mile beach (which is a beautiful day outing, by the way), and about equidistant, maybe closer, to Rum Point - which is also worth the drive. It was so nice to be able to go out and enjoy the island, but then come back to a small piece of paradise and watch the water. The snorkeling near the cottage was also fun - not a huge number of fish, but lots of lobsters and even a Lion Fish. We fell in love with Grand Cayman partly because of how tranquil and wonderful our stay was at Harriet's "Piece of Mine" cottage.
Away from the tourist!
It’s hould be called “Piece of Paradise”!Piece of mine is at an amazing beachfront location on the east end, away from the tourists. The villa is superbly clean with so many thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The bed is very comfortable, the villa is tastefully decorated, the grounds are beautiful and so well kept. Everything you need is available such as beach towels, life vests, snorkel equipment, kayaks, cooler, ice maker, convenient laundry room, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, dishes, pots, pans, toaster, microwave, stove, wine glasses, coffee maker, blender, even a dishwasher. Just bring your bathing suits! There are hammocks everywhere and a beautiful swing to star gaze, a gazebo to eat dinner, several loungers and a grill. The mangrove trees are beautiful and there is so much wildlife such as parrots, lizards, iguanas, beautiful butterflies and gorgeous orchids. The blow holes and Rum Point is not too far and worth visiting. At Rum Point you must go on the Sting Ray City Tour and snorkel. The Czech Inn Grill down the road and Rankins Jerk Chicken are the best local spots for casual eating. Spotts Beach and Cemetery Beach in West Bay are awesome if you want to beach hop. The turtle sanctuary in West Bay was also worth the time if you like to see sea life. Grand Cayman is simply awesome, especially when staying at Piece of Mine, we cannot say enough good things about the villa! Harriet even left us a sweet “Happy Anniversary” note, a bottle of wine and some fruits as a welcome gift. Chocolates on the pillows and fresh orchids from the garden in our room was over the top for an Airbnb welcome. Thank you Harriet! Beautiful & Well Manicured
We stayed 5 nights at Piece of Mine #1 and the pictures do not do the place justice! We were blown away with how beautiful and well manicured Harriet keeps the property. Upon arrival we were met by both Harriet and her assistant who walked us around the place and had fresh banana bread waiting on the oven. The property has a well stocked kitchen which opens onto a screened in porch where you will spend all of the time you aren't on the beach. Off the porch is a very nice master bedroom, bath, and laundry. The grounds are full of flowers, large trees which attract parrots, along with small and large palm trees. She has many areas with chairs and a table to eat outdoors, lounge chairs, hammocks, kayaks, and snorkel gear for you to use. The ocean out front is protected by a reef and ironshore way off the coast, so kayaking is very easy. We saw many starfish, dropped anchor and walked on sand bars, and I went snorkeling. You can walk down the beach for at least a mile in each direction, but you will need to bring your flip-flops because at places it is a little rocky or you have to go around ironshore. There are 3 houses on the premises, and for 3 of the days we had the entire property to ourselves! Even when additional guests arrived, it was still very private with lots of space to yourself. Overall, we were very happy with our trip and stay with Harriet.
Quiet, beautiful, slice of heaven
I was on this trip for work and stayed the first three nights at a large resort that my company chose. My husband and I wanted to stay a few extra days somewhere private where we could relax. If you want a quiet, beautiful, slice of heaven, this is the place. Everything was absolutely immaculate and the property is just not even something I can put into words. Do not hesitate to book this for yourself, you will be so glad you did. We cannot wait to get back.
Fantastic, beautiful, incredible value
Fantastic, beautiful, incredible value! This review will repeat many of the descriptors issued before, but it bears repeating again. The villa is exactly as advertised and surpassed our lofty expectations. You will enjoy the privacy of the beach as we only saw 1-2 other people walking by. Another couple rented the villa next to us, but the grounds are so spacious we hardly noticed eachother.Harriet’s place is not more than 5-10 minutes from some excellent restaurants, and we spent an afternoon on 7 mile beach which only took about 30 minutes to reach.We were greeted by Harriet upon arrival and she gave us a tour of the grounds as well as a slice of Cassava Cake. Erica, her groundskeeper, was incredibly helpful also.While kayaking/snorkeling we saw: Sea Turtles, sting rays, giant star fish, conch, crab, nurse shark, bone fish and other colorful sea creatures with the water all to yourself! Really enjoyed our time at this beautiful place.
The Best Experience
We have stayed in dozens of rentals all over the world and we can confidently say this was BY FAR the best experience we've had to date. Harriet is extremely responsive and she just exudes island hospitality. She was so sweet and accommodating with all of our questions and requests. The villa itself was perfect in every way - everything from how clean and modern the bungalow was to how beautiful and serene the outdoor space is. We had planned to be out and about on our first day, but we loved the outdoor space so much we just hung out on the property swinging on hammocks and kayaking on the beach. It's so quiet here and away from the crowds of George Town - we had so much fun trying some amazing local restaurants (Lighthouse Restaurant, Czech Inn Grill, Herman's Fish Fry are all winners) and when it got dark we spent hours stargazing. We couldn't recommend Harriet's place highly enough!
Perfect Choice for a Relaxing Week
We had seen the photos and reviews but we had no idea how beautiful the setting is...lovely plantings in your own well-manicured garden with lounge chairs facing the Caribbean. The cottage, one of three, sits on a large plot in what seems like your own private park. Our favorite spot was the large screened porch, a combined living-dining room. The kitchen is up-to-date and well-supplied, even salt and pepper. Everything is immaculate and well cared for. Harriet is a most responsive host, eager to do anything do make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The perfect choice for a relaxing week by the sea!
Best Kept Secret on Cayman
Piece of Mine is the best kept secret on Cayman! First and foremost, there is Harriet and Billie's incredible hospitality, which started the moment we first inquired about the property. Their knowledge of the island's many attractions as well as its history is unmatched. As for the villa itself, it is very spacious and furnished beautifully. The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of space with all-new appliances. The bedroom is huge with a very comfy bed, a desk, TV and lots more space. The huge walk-in closet even contains a new washer/dryer. The bathroom has a double vanity with a luxury shower. And the daybed in the large screened-in porch is the perfect place to nap, enjoy a cocktail, watch TV or all of the above. The beautiful grounds are HUGE, with nearly 3/4 acre to enjoy--especially the large ocean shoreline, garden and giant trees. There is plenty of space to bbq and enjoy a nice tiki-lit dinner at the outdoor table. Afterward, you can lounge by the ocean and watch the stars. We also used the included kayaks and snorkeling gear nearly every day. There are so few people around that I never saw anyone else on the water whenever I used the kayak. Since it is located in a large cove, it is very well protected from the high winds that so often hit the rest of the East End. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and all the island's attractions are close. If you are looking for an incredibly quiet, gorgeous oceanfront vacation spot, away from the busy side of the island, this is the place for you. I was already online searching for dates to return the day after we arrived!
Great Space on the Quiet End
Great space on the quiet end of the island. Perfect if you want to relax and cook your own food and have a nice time away from the main part of the island. It was great that Harriet provided kayaks and snorkel gear, we used both ! We had poor luck with weather so we were not able to grill outside, but she has a nice set up and everything you need. The chairs and hammocks around the property were very nice. Harriet was very friendly and easy to communicate with!
Relaxing Get Away
If you’re looking for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday to recharge your batteries, then this is the place to stay. Harriet’s cottage has everything you need and is made even better through her numerous personal touches and friendly personality. Soft white sand, swaying palm trees - and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets .... what more could you ask for! Highly recommend!
Definitely Will Be Back
Piece of Mine is a hidden gem on the island. It was my fifth visit to the Caymans, and having stayed in hotels on seven mile beach, homes on the North and West side of the island, I thought I had seen the best the island had to offer. This place far-exceeded all of those. From the private and quiet accommodations, to the extras like plenty of towels (beach ones too), a charcoal grill, and even an anchored float in the water, this is bar-none the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. Harriet is also one of the most wonderful people I’ve met on the island. She made sure that my girlfriend and I had everything we needed, but never intruded on our privacy. The pictures just simply don’t do the property and the home justice. It’s about 25 minutes from Seven Mile Beach, and only 10 minutes from Rum Point. It was convenient and calm - exactly what we needed. The beach steps from the cottage is also beautiful. I didn’t expect to spend an entire day there during the trip, but it was like having a private beach right outside of your back door. The cottage is also well-appointed with all the kitchen tools you need (even a blender and toaster), a washer and dryer, and even a piece of welcome cassava cake for us when we arrived. In short, I’m hesitant to write this review, fearing that the rest of the world will know what an amazing place this is, and book it from here to eternity. Places like Harriet’s are the reason I think of the Caymans as my second home, and I will most definitely be back.
Magnificent
Harriett's place is magnificent. It is secluded, quiet, and peaceful. My (then, fiance) and I wanted a place that was very private and beautiful to exchange our vows in marriage. We came across Harriett's place. It looked perfect. I reached out to Harriett and she promptly got back to me. The hospitality that she gave while we were there was top notch. When we needed her she was there, but when we didn't need her or wanted our privacy, we had it. She was communicative, informative, and helpful. Her place is filled with top-of -the line items. The towels, shower, bedding all make you feel like you're in a high-end resort (but without the noise, crowds, or tight corridors). With all of the above PLUS the private beach, kayaks and snorkeling gear, this was an unforgettable getaway. My husband and I will be returning to the Cayman Islands next year. Without a second thought, we know where we're going to stay. It is at Harrriet's! I HIGHLY recommend you do too.
Exceeded My Expectations
We have spent a week at “Piece of Mine” and I am happy to report that the cottage has far exceeded my already high expectations. Prior to our trip, Harriet was very easy to communicate with and made recommendations in terms of what to do on the island and where to shop for groceries. Upon arrival, Harriet proved to be an exceptionally kind and generous host, welcoming us with delicious cassava cake. Harriet is a wonderful cook, who often brought us samples of her excellent cooking as well as fresh coconut water. The kitchen was fully equipped with high end appliances, though we preferred to use the charcoal grill outside. The air-conditioning worked beautifully and water pressure in the shower was always strong. The Wi-Fi is as good, if not better, than we have in the US and was good enough to stream movies. The TV (there are two – in the bedroom and in the living room) has most cable channels, including ESPN. The cottage itself is even better than the photos suggest, with everything clean and in perfect working order. The bathroom has 2 sinks and tons of fluffy towels (Harriet also provides beach towels and snorkeling gear). The grounds are meticulously kept and filled with beautiful flowers and palm trees. We loved having a drink on the swing as the sun went down, as well as reading in the hammocks during day time. The views from the cottage and from the beach are spectacular. The beach itself is walk-able throughout the bay. I am not a fan of turtle grass, of which there is plenty, but there is excellent swimming to be had – if you are willing to use the kayaks (also provided by Harriet). Just kayak to the turquoise water in the bay (the water there is about 4-5 feet high), tie your kayaks to a rock and enjoy. The water is warm, the sand is white, and you can spot giant lobsters and stingrays on the sea floor. Should I come back to Cayman, I would not dream of staying anywhere but at Harriet’s place. Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
