Welcome to Piece of Mine Yellow, an enchanting micro-resort of three 1-bedroom cottages that deliver a tropical escape with snorkeling, kayaking, and shore fishing steps from the home's front door. With two neighboring cottages on-site—Piece of Mine Green or Blue—guests can expect a remote, tranquil paradise along the island's south coast.
The cozy interiors feature a spacious primary suite with a queen bed, a full kitchen with modern appliances, and an enclosed living area with ocean views. Air-conditioned interiors with complimentary WiFi and SmartTVs in the bedroom and living area will keep you cool and connected throughout your stay.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a home-cooked meal including cookware, flatware, glassware, and cutlery. Small countertop appliances include a blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, and a Keurig. A high-top dining table in the living area and a small charcoal grill are provided for island cookouts with tropical views. Multiple picnic tables dot the shoreline for alfresco dining by the sea.
At the request of the homeowner, all overnight guests must be 18 or older.

The grounds are a lush landscape with tropical gardens, vibrant wildlife, and blooming orchids. Kayaks, paddleboards, and SeaView boards are available for hire at discounted rates. Free snorkel gear—mask, fins, and snorkel—is provided for all guests.

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The homes along the southeast coast offer great reef-protected snorkeling and proximity to the best SCUBA operators on the island, Ocean Frontiers and Tortuga Divers.
Unique to Piece of Mine Yellow is its 200-feet of private beachfront. This shoreline is yours to explore and comes furnished with shared hammocks and a seaside cabana.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased over the summer. Our owners make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will contact the owner for alternative solutions, which may include a partial refund or relocation.
We try our best to work around Mother Nature.

Top 3 Rentals
Peace of Mine is one of the top 3 rentals we have stayed at.From the arrival with Ms Tia, the house keeper who showed us everything in the cottage and was always available with a cheery smile, and service above and beyond. Ms Harriet was just a message away. We had internet connectivity issues, and within seconds, Ms Tia knocked on our door and solved the issue with a backup router.Several great restaurants within 10-15 mins drive including Tukka House West and the Italian kitchen.The cottage itself was stocked with every amenity one needs including snorkel gear, chairs and towels. Kayaks for the beautiful calm waters in front of the reef.The only two things that were a bit of a negative 1. not much snorkeling near the cottage, and 2. it is far from georgetown (about 35 mins non traffic or 1.5 hours+ during traffic time) but if one is looking for seclusion and far away from the tourist crowds, this would be the place.Highly highly recommend.
Best Rental Experience
The best rental experience EVER! Harriet was the best host we have ever encountered - so kind and wonderful! She helped us realize that due to the Easter holidays there would be limited services on the island - and offered to help us have groceries delivered and stocked in the cottage if we needed! She has a helper, Tia, who was there to greet us and show us around and was available daily for anything we needed - it was AMAZING! This place was even better than the pictures could reflect. It was a second honeymoon for my husband and I and they made it so very special. This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and it was because of this special place and our own private beach. Also, she helped us with local recommendations ... when my phone had trouble calling a local number, I let Harriet know and she actually called and booked the couples massage for me! She was absolutely marvelous and we LOVED it. Can't wait to go back!!

We'll Be Back
Piece of Mine, Harriett and amazing assistant Tia were so much more than we could have expected. Warm and welcoming while allowing total privacy only begin to describe our experience. This is by far the cleanest most well equipped and beyond home away from home you could ever stay. Pristine and well stocked cottage, private beach, personal snorkel gear and kayaks all there for each cottage. Most of all Harriet and her “right and left hand” assistant, Tia, were delightful and like family, warm and friendly , and answered questions and helped with anything needed within minutes. The beauty peace and homey feeling is beyond any expectations. If you are looking for an amazing respite and peaceful stay you will find your slice of heaven and peace of mind at Piece of Mine. We’ll be back again and again as will other guests as well.
Cozy, Beautiful Cottage
Wow! It is hard to sufficiently express how much we enjoyed this perfect place- such a slice of paradise! My sweet husband and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary and its been truly fantastic! We've sat at the beach every night after having made homemade pina coladas in your blender. We've enjoyed so many wonderful activites all over the island but have truly appreciated this cozy beautiful cottage.

Beautiful location, and very well equipped comfortable apartment. Harriett has invested in quality fittings and furniture inside and outside. Wonderful place to relax.
Perfect Place
Piece of Mine was the perfect place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Whether we chose to sit back & relax, or launch out for the day & explore the island, there was nothing we could have wanted, no stone left unturned. Everything from the excellent communication with Harriet to the beautiful beach furnishings, all was top notch. Very comfortable bed, in-unit laundry, exceptionally clean cottage. We loved the amazing views, took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen & charcoal grill cooking in several meals, lounged in the hammock, kayaked in the beautiful turquoise water. Took Harriet’s recommendation & booked a couples massage with Perfectly Pampered mobile spa under the gazebo on our private beach, incredible! And oh my, what an absolute pleasure to have Tia around property for anything needed. She is AMAZING, love her warm smile & kind heart of service, going above & beyond to ensure her guests have everything needed for a magical stay, a one of a kind! Thank you for the memories!
A Great Vacation
Truly a great stay, one of our best rental experiences anywhere. Tia is on property and is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a slow leak in a tire, Tia went to the storage and found a portable air pump for us to use until I could get the tire fixed, definitely going above and beyond! A beautiful place to relax and read by the water, and this end of the island is so nice and quiet. Good restaurants nearby and some interesting things to do. A great vacation.
Unforgettable
Harriet and Tia made our honeymoon unforgettable at Piece of Mine. Tia, the sweetest person you'll meet, greeted us at the cottage and made sure we were all set and comfortable, and was around during the week doing upkeep on the property. Harriet was very responsive and respectful in all of the messages we exchanged and even left us a homemade cake and bottle of wine to celebrate! The property was away from the chaos of George Town, but close to many fun attractions and delicious restaurants in East End. Sharing the property with two other couples was no issue as there were plenty of areas to sit on the beach. We loved the kayaks available and we took the snorkeling gear all over the island! We will absolutely be booking here again when we return to the island.Pro tip: Don't buy condiments, spices, tea/coffee, etc. until you arrive and have a chance to see what's already at the cottage 🙂
Incredible in Every Aspect
Incredible place in every aspect. Harriet is a gracious, kind host who wants everything to be just right for you. Tia makes all that happen and excels in her role. Her customer service is outstanding. The location of the cottages is simply breathtaking. Right on a beach with kayaks, snorkel gear & life jackets & beach towels provided. It's a tranquil peace of paradise which feels authentic and very safe. We visited the whole island and although we loved it all, we hit the jackpot staying in the East End and at this place. Cottage 2 is in the middle of the 3. It's simple and perfect with everything you could ask for included. We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here. We wanted something special and it didn't disappoint.

Greatest Stay We Ever Had
Our stay at Harriet's was probably the greatest stay we've ever had. She supplied everything listed and more, was proactive about letting us know about local happenings, was concerned for our safety, is very helpful and responsive, and though very busy, you can tell she takes great pride in her rentals. Her assistant Tia is one of the most precious and friendly people I have ever met. She was always on top of anything you needed or might possibly need in the future, checking in and bringing the brightest smile you'll find on the island. Staying outside of the tourist area and further down the island was the best decision we made and staying here was the next best. Don't pass up Harriet and Tia's place!
Great Location!
Great location! Right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of chairs to set back and relax. I even drank coconut water from a fallen coconut. Had an amazing time. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Tia and Harriet were amazing host.
Fit the Bill Perfectly
My partner and I were looking for a relaxing spot on the island that would allow us easy access to adventures were interested in, while also allowing us to have some quiet alone time. Harriet's place fit the bill perfectly, and ended up being an absolutely perfect spot. We watched the sunset every night, went out kayaking off the private beach, and enjoyed some wine and stargazing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Harriet and Tia work amazingly hard to ensure guests have a fantastic experience, and I cannot recommend staying at Piece of Mine enough! We look forward to coming back some time in the future - perhaps even bringing some family or close friends to share this one of a kind vacation spot.
Perfect Private Beach
There was so much to do on this perfect private beach. Kayaking, snorkeling, and my personal favorite, lounging in the beach chairs in the sun. We didn’t get to meet Harriet, but Tia was incredible and helped with anything we needed, including helping me wash a broken jar of spaghetti sauce out of my suitcase. The water at the cottage (and around most of the island) does have a fair amount of sargassum, which isn’t ideal for swimming, but we kayaked out and swam around, too. Thanks for a great stay!!

Loved it!
We loved our stay at Piece of Mine! It is an absolute oasis of relaxation. Just steps from the ocean, you can hear waves crashing over the reef. The cottage was absolutely lovely and had everything you could need for your stay. There was a Keurig with coffee pods, a super comfy bed, snorkel gear, life jackets, kayaks, shady and sunny areas to relax, a charcoal grill, floats, beach chairs, umbrellas…everything!! We spent every morning drinking our coffee by the water and sometimes kayaking and snorkeling at the reef offshore and then exploring Grand Cayman all day. We usually returned to clean up and head to dinner but first we napped or relaxed in the hammocks or chaise lounges with a glass of wine. You couldn’t really swim directly from the beach at Piece of Mine, but there were so many places close by that it wasn’t an issue at all. You really do need to have a car for your stay but that just gives you so much freedom to see everything that Grand Cayman has to offer. It’s much quieter on the East End but there are still great restaurants, great beaches and cool sites nearby. We loved it!!
Special Place
Once in a while you find a place so special, you almost don’t want to tell others about it so you can keep it to yourself, Piece of Mind is one of those places. We had a short 4 night stay and it was truly paradise. The location is lovely and quiet, the beach is beautiful and we took advantage of the kayaks and snorkel gear every day. The cottage is charming, super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. To top it off, Harriet and Mia were the best hosts, so friendly and accommodating, like visiting old friends. Thank you Harriet for a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to return.

Gorgeous Views
If you come to Grand Cayman, you need to stay at one of the cottages at Piece of Mine! The view was GORGEOUS and we loved the seclusion and peace among all the beautiful palms. My husband and I did a ton of snorkeling all over the island, but we loved the snorkeling near the cottage that can be reached by the provided kayaks. The cottage was so cute and very clean, and we loved the little touches that Harriet and Tia provided. We are looking forward to another trip to the Grand Cayman and we hope to stay again at Piece of Mine Cottage #2!
Just Like the Pictures
Bungalow was just like the pictures. Super clean and comfortable. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go into town everyday if needed/wanted.
Perfect for Relaxation
Harriet's place is absolutely perfect for relaxation. Centrally located to everything, it's a great place to call home while you are on the island. Harriet is a super responsive and helpful host, with great suggestions! Tia was absolutely amazing as well. We will be back to this perfect home away from home!
Lovely Getaway
Piece of Mine was a lovely getaway. The cottage was cute and super clean. We were steps from the cabana where we would enjoy our breakfast and only a few more steps to the beach. We rented a car so we were able to adventure in the morning and then relax on the beach in the afternoon before showering and getting ready for dinner. One thing I will recommend is to check into the cottage before running out to the grocery store. There were sugar and spices and other condiments left by other guest that changed our shopping list a bit. Our stay was exactly what we needed and I would not hesitate recommending Piece of Mine to any of my friends looking for a peaceful getaway in Grand Cayman.
Perfect Vacation!
Where to begin?! We were the second guests in the newly-renovated Cottage #2 and it our vacation was PERFECT! It was a quick getaway without kids before having baby number three, so the secluded, serene setting was EXACTLY what we were hoping for! We made friends with our neighbors and just enjoyed a perfect getaway: kayaking to the reef, snorkeling, swimming with sting rays, and just kicking back. Renting a car made everything easy, and though Harriet was off island and we didn't get to meet her, Tia was MORE than accommodating, super friendly, and inviting. I would love to return some day! Thank you!

Booking Rules
- 3 night minimum required from Apr. 19 - Nov. 21
- 4 night minimum required from Jan. 4 - Apr. 18
- 5 night minimum required over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire about your travel dates before booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
